The next team featured in the Texas Team Preview is one of the top teams in Houston and also the entire state of Texas and they are none other than the Beaumont United Timberwolves.
Team Skinny
The Timberwolves are a talented group who have one of the best trio’s in the state in 2022 SF Terrance Arceneaux, 2023 SG Wesley Yates and 2023 SF Trealyn Porchia. The three will be heavily depended on to lead their squad in the scoring department and also in the locker room. Last year’s team finished with an astounding overall record of 33-3 & 14-0 in district play.

Wesley Yates • SG • 2023
Yates has an array of talent and nice skillset for the Shooting Guard Position. His ball skills coupled with his shooting touch and feel is what makes him one of the top young scorers in Texas.
Trealynn Porchia • SF • 2023
Porchia is an athletic long wiry slasher who gets to the rim with ease from the perimeter and also in transition. He is a fluid athlete that plays both ends of the floor and plays and exhibits toughness when he is on the floor
Terrance Arceneaux • SF • 2022
Arceneaux has a very high ceiling and the four-star swingman hasn’t even tapped into his full potential yet. He is a good athlete who possesses a lethal first step and he is able to hit jumpers from behind the arc off the catch. Defensively he is able to guard multiple spots on the floor and rebounds the ball well for his position.
Conclusion
This team is going to be fun to watch this season and if they stay health, I think they will have another big time season!
